Last nite I checked e-mail and found an add from Lycos that touted a new free photo album program...it is so easy to use that I posted 10 pics in less than 15 minutes(and I had never seen it before.)

NO PERSONAL WEB SITE REQUIRED!!!

Here's the url check it out... http://direct.lycos.com/redir/_photos when everyone sees this site this BB will be filled with pics...guaranteed!

The secret to sending it to the BB...after the pics are uploaded ...right click on screen(on one of the pics)and when the menue comes down right click on "properties" and the "address url" will appear...Hyperlink it with the correct symbols (as follows)

ahead & behind adress

copy it and post on the BB, presto your pics are here for everyone to see.

It actually takes less time to accomplish this task than it took for me to type up the explanation!
It is actually designed for sending quick and easy pictures thru e-mail,but really works superbly for our needs.Try it you'll like it!

"Hey if it werked fer me ,it has to werk fer you" (or you'd think it would anyway)

Hey Monty,

Well, how much spam do you think the average letterhead will get if he signs up for that service? 10, 20, 30, e-mails per day?

Tell us how much junk mail comes along with it and then we can better decide. hahahahaha

It is a neat way to post a picture here.

LoL Dave...yer gonna get spam no matter where ya go...tripod is the worst.Never the less there is a place(when you register) to "request" no unwanted notifications (yeah right)...Still it is the easiest way to post pictures I've found...thats worth a little commercialism,I suppose.

Hey Monte,

I got same email message from Lycos. Went there read terms of service & looks like they dont permit it to be used this way. Says something about setting up albums (no single photos) & ...I don't remember exactly what it said but don't think it'll work here.

Bill...It'll work just fine if you do what has been described...and if they send the cyber police we'll deal with them when they arrive...

Here's another site that will work the same...
www.photopoint.com

The best part is there is no web site to maintain and they are much more user friendly!

This is my test to see if I can load images from a photopoint albumn. albums.photopoint.com/j/View?u=1471462&a=11071668&p=38571881 . It is a picture of the Alphabet Moose being auctioned off at www.buyamoose.com.

Hey Monte. That was pretty easy. I did this one with photopoint. Is this the way they are suppose to appear? Is there a way to make the image appear seamless in the text without having to click on the url?
