Hello everyone ! I was away from the sign biz a few years With a couple projects completed still every now and then . Well, I’m back again , and computers have changed a bit . My old summd620 plotter had been great for years Although it wants to use a printer port or serial port that is obsolete now . I think one of my old computers may still work enough to run it after a tuneup of both computer and plotter. The most extreme issue is that the belt that moved the blade broke , and I can’t seem to find a replacement . The plotter is over 20 years old but had always worked well in the past . Doesn anyone know where I might find a replacement for this belt ? I don’t think summa makes them anymore . Also any info regarding working with ancient printer ports using a newer computer and now flexisign I instead of casmate software would be welcomed ….actually any thoughts or info are appreciated! Thanks Shon

Did you call Summa? There are right here in Seattle Wa. The plotters don't really change much other than the outside appearnce. Mine is a 2005 model. Works fine.

I do not think that Summa made the belts the get them from a belt supplier. Try the plotter Dr. if he can't help you try finding a belt supplier, keep the old one.
