Has anyone tried this or is shipping the printer back to Gerber the only option?

I've always sent mine back to Gerber. Not only will they replace the printhead, they will go through the printer with a fine-tooth comb and make the machine pretty much brand new.www.BlueDogUSA.com Warning: A well designed sign may cause fatigue due to increased business.
