It's been a little over a month since Cisco left us and a week since his Life Celebration in Fresno. It was nice to be with Judy, Mudflap Girl and her husb, Pat. We all cried together but I'm pretty sure I was the worst. We all felt better when we saw The Walldogs in the slide shows. It was so nice to see The Beautiful People from all those meets. Mudflap said a nice piece on behalf of his Walldog Family. The Butler's Tshirts were a big hit. I'm not a fan of FacePuke, so I'll just tell you here how much I appreciate knowing you...including the ones I haven't met in person. Still hard to believe he's gone. Sunset

I still ain't right yet. I have kinda lost the "Get-Up-N-Go-DO-A-Sign" mentality.

It's like this,,,,,I had a bit of free time in Fresno. One of Cisco's daughters called me up and asked and said I could come over if I was still in the area. It was strange to be at Francisco's house and he wasn't there. Most of his belongs were gone. I saw in his bedroom his clothes on the bed and about 25 pairs of shoes neatly put in rolls on the floor. All kinds of shoes, from cowboy boots to sneakers. It made me think, you work hard all of your life, you buy things, collect them even treasure some things. And in the end it just gets tossed or sold. I know his daughters are keeping the things that are special to them, but it's the stupid stuff we keep that doesn't mean anything to anybody else but us. It could be a Christmas card from a old friend or a sign panel you got as a gift. Unless the person who aquires it knows what it is, it get tossed or winds up on the shelf at the Goodwill store. I'll get over it soon, but for now I still have this sad memory.

I wish we could have made it out to to FranCisco's Life Celebration. Brenda and I are in the process of relocating to Minnesota, and we just couldn't get away. Thanks for representing the Walldog group!
At least I got to have FranCisco stay over at our house right after the Delavan, WI - Walldog event. We got to hang out for a couple of days in MIlwaukee together, it was great!
Still can't wrap my head around the fact that he is gone. It saddens me deeply each time the thought crosses my mind. But then all the great memories kick in and chase the blues away! He was an amazing artist and friend!
Our lives have been deeply touched by the one-and-only FranCisco Vargas!
