Has anybody found a successful work around for direct cutting from a Roland cx-24 and Windows 7? My second computer is starting to give up the ghost and I want to replace it, but I can't get my plotter to run from my other one.

I'm getting a message use 32, I assume that it wont run on 64 bit?

I think I've succeeded using a GX 64 bit driver. Thanks.

well you didnt say you was running 64 bit. tell me this, WHY DO YOU NEED 64 BIT WINDOWS 7??? hummmmmmmmmmmm thought so. HOW MANY PROGRAMS you have on the computer that are 64 BIT????? ill bet ZERO.... so if iaint mistaken you can reload WINDOWS 7 AND TELL IT TO LOAD THE 32 BIT VERSION... its on the same cd.

Because it is the version that runs the 64 bit GX-24 driver.

what is your problem then.........CUT DIRECT FROM COREL DRAW....i, joe diaz, dave grundy have been doing it since the 90's.....

That was my problem, I do cut directly from CorelDraw and when my older computer started to give up the ghost I couldn't find a driver for my newer computer. As far as 64 bit, I'm not interested in a debate as to whether I should have it or not. I do however appreciate your attempt to help with the driver...Thanks.

64 bit or 32 bit...Who really cares? All that really matters is that Kelly found a driver that allows her to continue "working" with her current cutter.
