Wayne, the only digital printer that can do that is a flatbed printer and those are very expensive. I'm hoping in the next few years that they will drop the price like the other digital printers did. I waited 2 years before I finally bought my Roland 30" VersaCamm back in 2005. It was one of the best purchases I've made. I can see how a flatbed printer would be very useful in a small shop. It is supposed to be able to print on many different substrates. Sure would change the "printing" business for most sign shops. It may make screen printing signs obsolete. Where's a crystal ball when you need one.
Sign-cerely, Steve
