They are having a lot of trouble with people picking at it, it was nice to use and looked great, but I found the surface coating just wasn't tough enough for me to use it for this purpose again. I will be using cultured stone or real stone facing on the next couple.

I saw some manufactured (cultured?) stone today at a brickyard that looks like it may do the trick - about $4 a square foot. I suppose I'm adding a new facet to my repertoire - "stonedmason" - hope my back and knees can handle this.....

Yes it is coated urethane type foam. It comes in sheets I think they are 2'x4'. I was doing some research for a project that didn't happen a while back, there are a couple companies doing that type of faux stone all of them carried different sizes, shapes and styles.
