I'm not that good at uploading photos, but if you go in here, this is my daughter's new logo for her newe gift business. I didn't create this, a neighbor of hers did, and I think it is rather clean and cheerful.

Deb,I like the logo a lot and it will become an ICON which will identify her just by seeing the {S}...kinda like that famous shoe logo. Its a winner. Attach it...Show it off!

Deb...I really hate to say this...I really like the globe with it initial "S', THAT looks great, but I find the rest of the name to be very hard to read.
One of those fonts that is tough to read, at least to me.
Can't please everyone I guess !!
Edited to add...I know what it is...Close the tops of the "a"s so they don't look like "c"s and "i"s next to each other. Sometimes one has to do some tweeking to a font to make it more readable.

you know I do realize that... I didn't design this but I think that the carriage will be before the horse here for a while.
I've been very busy so she did find someone to design this and it's pretty. I do identify with your comments about the letters..kind of having the old english in the caps on cars sort of thing.
Maybe we can tweak this, but for now she is happy and yet we do want it to be read by many eventually, thanks for the input!

Well I like it ..It is cheerful, fun looking, crafty. Is it a little hard to read, does not think it matters with crafts believe fun looking is more important, even with the upside down S it adds to it. Outstanding logo

I think it looks fine. Sure, if Deb or some of the other people from this site did it, it would have probably looked better. But, a lot would have not.

Deb,I think the design looks very good. The strong changes I would rec.are try the large logo S in the same gray as script w\ heavy white outline or maybe leave alone & use a gray outline on S w\a thin 2nd outline of white next 2 the outer edge of the gray outline. Just my 1st glance thoughts,my sign painter brain only thinks like a window splash painter these last few years, therefor whites & outlines. Can U find out the name of the font & where 2 purchase same. Thank U Kent Moss Paint On... Sweet Charleston

I'm agreeing with Dave though-I'd like to see the points in the tops of the all the letter 'a's closed up a tad more,
and I'd prefer to lower the grey text of the name by a couple of downarrow clicks, I think, and perhaps darkened a whisker-or with a slightly darker grey outline.

I will pass this on to the designer as now I see the logo represented on a large board with other logos of businesses and it is not jumping out. For a webpage where it is a crafty type of business, it's usually a different purpose, I agree; now that I see it on this board, I think I will step in and make the suggestion. And, it entices me to get back into the sign biz which I have set aside for back problem reasons. I really miss it and need a push.
The gal that made it is a neighbor of hers and was looking for more work, this is the first I have seen. I think this is a perfect example of team effort to help this friend of hers along. They have a lot of business but so happy with all the comments and professional plugs here. Thanks so much.

The ying/yang of the 'S' has potential.... but honestly don't care for it.
The font was a poor choice. If the logo was on a vehicle and it drove past you at 50mph.... there's no way you could interpret the name.
Distance makes for difficult legibility too. When I saw the smaller thumbnail of the sign after clicking on your FB link - I could not read it at all. Imagine someone driving by at a short distance - It may as well be Chinese.
Sorry :-)
