I am in a quandry. I continue to get voices coming through my PC speakers. They go from Meryl Streep interviews, to book readings, to foreign language stuff.
It seems to keep recycling and repeating these messages. It only happens about once an hour, and lasts 5 minutes or so. Nothing else seems to be affected by this virus or whatever it is.
While it's happening, I chech the task manager, and find no active applications. Any ideas?

Sometimes I get some barely audible sounds from this Letterville site! (for real) They are just barely there and I cannot make out what they are. Must be some of the old sign people who have passed on, I guess and they are still want to be involved? OOOOOOH Sounds like we need a reality TV show about it.

I found a YouTube video for muting it. It works good, but it bugs me that it's still there, running in the background:
Windows 7: While experiencing the noise, Start tab> Control panel> hardware & sound> adjust system volume> see which element is producing sound, mute it.
It doesn't seem to bother any of the other sound functions, it seems as though its running on its own sound channel which is now muted.
