I am using photobucket which seems "user friendly" but this photo I wanted to crop but I don't think I saved it correctly. Anyone care to explain how this is done so I can eliminate stuff in the background and zoom in on the sign? Thanks!
Sign-cerely, Steve
This sign has dimensional PVC lettering and the oval at the bottom. I painted the MDO with 1-shot enamel and used digital print vinyl on the lettering.

Here's you photo once more, cropped in PhotoShop, saved at 600 pixels wide and then uploaded to Photobucket for posting here.
Nice sign by the way.

Steve, select your uploaded image in photobucket. look for edit. find the crop tool. When satisfied look around down near the bottom of the screen you'll be asked to keep or replace the original which is stored to whatever album you have it in. pick replace.
I am so glad you are learning to post your photos. Seeing this caliber of sign-work is what makes us check in here!

Maybe this photoshop tip is new to somebody.
When you select the crop tool, Photoshop allows you to fill in a width, height, resolution, or all three. The boxes to fill in the values is on the bar directly underneath the menu.
The crop tool will maintain whatever you input. So, if you fill in 600 px for the width, leave the height blank, and 72 for the resolution, you'll always have the perfect size to post here...no matter how you crop the image.

Sorry Dave, I don't use photoshop. We have it but I don't use it. My graphic designer uses it along with Illustrator, but I'm old school and can do everything in SignLab that I need. I may look at it if you say it's easy!
