Finally my book is in the final stages of Edit! Contains 50 "Laps" (chapters) and about 300 pages.
Never realized how much work it takes to make the publisher happy!

Preston Woods Publishing did the covers. It has been a long road but it will all worth it... I think!

I bet you enjoyed the driving part, lots of memories I'm sure.

45 years ago I ran front engine dragsters and I remember ( most of it ) like it was last week !

B is easily the best looking cover. D captures what I think is the essense of the book.

Bingo George. If it was just a racing book, then A or B it is. But C & D tie together the meaning of title of the book, going from racer to race track prep. As a motorsports journalist for many years, I know that is a key element.

I'd say B stood out for me too, although they seem a little dated looking. But definitely B among your choices.

I agree totally with George on this one. By reading some of the comments on the voting page, it's hard to get a consensus. Good luck with that. The book looks like fun reading, let us know when the it comes out.

Tony I like B the best. The last two just have too much going on . I also like the photo layout much better on B. Now when do I get to buy an autographed copy? There must be some mention of late nights at the Seneca Lodge in there somewhere.

'C' does the best job of conveying what the book is about to the uniformed eye in a book shop. if you are selling it direct then 'B' is great.
