I doubt it IF this was for real dont you think the wood would have larger splinters in it, it was a clean cut

really slick...but it's fake...all the things that have come together in perfect synchronicity for this to happen make my chances at the winning the lottery look better and better...no one could throw a blade and produce the rpm necessary for such a feat...fun to watch though...and the guys that pulled this one off are to be complimented.

Knew it was fake as soon as I saw it. Think about how long it takes for a powered saw at 5800 rpm to cut a 2x4. I think the one in the video was cut at least 5 times faster than a normal cut. Can a human achieve 29000 rpm on a thrown saw blade? No way. Plus at thrown velocity, I believe the blade would bounce off the wood before going through. Still, very cool effect.
