Thanx! And Merry ChrisTmas to all you talented, awesome, creative, unique folks!
For the first time in quite a few years I did Christmas quite different from the usual gala . . . I did not mail the usual 50-60 cards I send every year . . . I only sent 3, tho' I got about 30 - Thank you to those special Letterheads among them!
We did not have our usual Christmas Eve bash of 30 -40 people where the focus is food, playing group games, and guitars & singing.
Emily, who turned Sweet 16 on Christmas Day, had 3 freinds over and we sang happy birthday and ate most of her giant birthday cookie.
On Christmas Day, Em' had got a $10 pair of 'burgenstocks' and two t-shirts, batteries for her old keyboard, film for her used 35mm camera, and some candy & socks. Instead of the usual 5-10 friends who dine with us, we had 1 friend over. I cooked a small ham & small amounts of: dressing, sweet potato cassarole, rice & gravy, and made pear salads.
I spent less than $80 bux for everything and it was the most 'meager' & quiet holiday & birthday we've had in years . . .
But'cha know what? It was just as fun and twice as sweet!
Hope y'all had a sweet Christmas as well!!
