So in the past I have had good luck using either Avery paintmask or the Gerbermask II. Well the Gerber has been discontinued and the Avery is not aggressive enough.
I am using SW Latex Superpaint, which I have had good success with in the past. However is seems like they might have changed something with their formulation. It now has "Advanced Resin Technology". I also noticed that it has Heavy Parrafinic Oil as an ingredient.
I need a mask that is more aggressive so that it will stand up to the routing I need to do and not lift off the surface.
Any suggestions on something you have had luck with would be appreciated.
Thanks again, TJ

I had the same experience with the BM laytex.
I found that by heating the painted HDU to about 125 degrees, it sticks a lot better. I have an overhead quartz heater that does the job for me. (That's how I "discovered" this.....tryin to keep warm...lol)I also heat it before removal. I do use Avery.

I've been using Oracal "Orajet" #3620 Clear Vinyl with clear removeable adhesive, for my masking.
It's inexpensive, and I can either cut it on my plotter, or hand cut it. It sticks pretty well, but you don't have to worry about pulling the paint when removing it.
See if you can find a sample to try, or give me a shout, and I'll send you a piece to try out.

I am not aware of Gerber discontinuing their masking products. The last time I got any it was still called GerberMask II but a check of their website confirms that they now call it GerberMask Ultra II, but it seems to be available.
