I didn't realize this would be a hassle. But I'm doing some interstate signs that call for transparent color. Digital printing is not accepted.
We thought we could buy transparent vinyl, but not all the colors are available from the catalogs we ordered out of -- unless they are special ordered. Also they make you buy the whole friggin' roll.
If there's such a thing as a transparent outdoor silk screen ink that would adhere to high intensity reflective sheeting? I could work with that.
Is there anybody here that does interstate signs like the ones they gang onto those DOT signs along the off ramps that can advise me. If so I thank you in advance.

Bill, it seems like a million years ago now, but there always seemed to be a clear mixing medium for the inks to make them transparent. Nazdar is great about answering questions.

We can get Oracal, direct shipped but we have to buy 10 yd. rolls, when we only need 2 yds of a material that we will NEVER use again!
