Could I have made that subject any longer?? Anyway, this could come in handy. I have a need to send the picture of the artwork to a customers cell phone. It will speed up the approval process and save them a trip to review. But how do I take a Freehand 10 file and Save As or Export the correct file format that she can view on her phone? I have to dial her phone number...from my computer? Don't think so. And yet, why not? this is the future and surely someone has tackled this. Any help appreciated. I'm on a Mac Powerbook G4 running 10.4.11 OS. As always - thanks ahead of time - for you time to answer!

Mick, I send files all the time to my son - to his email address on his Blackberry. Don't know about cell phones without internet ready access, though.

I know this isn't what you are asking but I have just used the camera in my phone to take a picture of my computer screen and then I have sent them either to an email address or to my phone.
Not very hi res but it might get the point across....also works for putting friends photos on phone for visual ID.

you can actually set your email up to recive texts from yourphone and vice versa, i do this so i can text my email during the day to remind me to do stuff. save the file as jpeg, and then email to yourself and then forward it
im sure there is an easier way, but thats how i do it, unless like lori said they already have a email address on their phone

I'd open the file in Freehand and do a selective screen capture of it. command>shift>4 Open the png file in preview and name and save as a jpeg.

I don't know what company you're with, but you can probably ask their tech support. My older phone has settings for photo resolution. I also send photos to email addy's regularly. I use Verizon and know their process. If I'm sending from my computer to a cell I need to log in on a Verizon site and upload the photo and then send it, but it's quite simple to do.

Just got back from my Verizon dealer. He was familiar, but wanted to get it right, so he called his rep. The rep said send the file to (recipients phone area code & phone number, w-out the 1) @ vzwpics .com. It would look like this: 000-000-0000@vzwpics.com. Note: I haven't tried it yet, have jobs to do. I'll post on my experience with it when I get a chance. If it works, here's another way to make my life easier and get an OK on a design!
