Would you use a font like this? I've put together three fonts total, with red white blue stripes option and red and white lower half horizontal and vertical stripes.
But would you ever use it for sign work???
Trivia question: The font shown in graphic is a tribute font from an actual logo from years gone by. Can you identify it???

Considering the way the government seems to be trampling all over our Constitutional Rights, I think these fonts could be used a lot ! They look good too !

I knew someone would make a crack about the 10 cents, SI!!!!
One thing I've learned about patriotic fonts:
"Just because you can, doesn't always mean you should!"
In other words, overdoing the the red, white and blue theme can lead to a star-spangled mess, hence the reason the word "AMERICAN" is stripe-free.

You got it Sean-!!! This was the lettering style used for the logo on the cover of Captain America Comics #1, all the way back to 1941-!!!

Spotted that Captain America look in a second, Michael. Brilliantly done.
I could find a home for that font easily. I have a few truck lettering jobs that would have been perfect for and there's always 4th of July banners, floats and displays.

Very nice, love the Captain America look! Will it come with a solid colour option like the word American?

Yep. This is actually only one of the 3 "captain america" style fonts that I've completed for this pak. Each of the three fonts comes in the following 6 variants:
1. Solid 2. Black and white stars/stripes horizontal 3. Black and white stars/stripes vertical 4. Red, White and Blue stripes only 5. Stars and stripes horizontal 6. Stars and stripes vertical (shown)
I'd like to give one of the fonts away free to you guys, but I don't know which one would be the most usable for sign work. I might just post all 3 next week and let you guys decide!!!

it's too bad i can't use these cap images in my advertising!!! I could see the lawsuits piling up quick!!!
Cap is the man!!! I'm too slow and inconsistent to ever do comic art, but I'm impressed you gave it a shot!!!
