We can make this smaller if it's out of budget. And we can make it out of metal which will greatly reduce the cost. It just wouldnt be 3d. Thanks Wayne

Custom made is always 'pricier' than mass produced; because you are, in effect, designing and making a prototype with every product you make. It's almost like reinventing the wheel with every unit. Anyway, sorry we couldn't accomodate.

WOW! Impressive work, Keith. Really. Outstanding!
Yeah, CAD CAM is just amazing. I come in push the button, he boots up, I click on the voice recognition software. Tell him "CAD CAM... make this dude a sign" He goes right to work, designs the sign, then goes out to the shop to....... Rough out shape with a Sabre saw, table saw, band saw, wood chisels, sand with a portable orbital edge sander, belt sander, hand sanding jigs, 120, 220, and 400 grit paper, orbital sanding, hand sanding, hand operated router to round edges, gluing clamps, epoxy and urethane glues, screwguns, drill pressing, priming with a roller and brush, mixing paints, spraying 2 or 3 coats, hand sanding between coats, cleaning HVLP guns, rack drying, drag out heavy sandblast hoses, sift sand, lug heavy sand to blast pot, load blast pot, fuel up compressor, charge battery, crank up compressor, manhandle heavy blast hose, put on expensive safety gear, breathe dangerous silica dust between changes. Dust off, return sign to shop, prepare and spray backgrounds. By this time CAD CAM is exhausted, needs his batteries charged and a good oiling. Since 1985....A master carpenter of 24 years experience, my friend...oops ya got 3 years on me. Sorry man, didn't mean to ruffle your feathers. Just stating the fact that Custom work takes alot of sweat, skill, grit and TIME. As you should know. http://www.webbsignstudio.com every single one done by hand. Wayne
As a side note, This guy was going to get a sandblasted sign with custom artwork. I do also have a CNC router and about $5000 worth of "CAD CAM" software. But even at that, why should that lessen the value of "commissioned art"?

I had a customer a while back ask: "Why is it so much? The computer did all the work."
Yep, I have one of those Star Trekkian jobs and the conversation goes like this...
"Computer." "Working." "Design this guy a sign." "What kind of sign?" "Something for the clueless." "Working... done." "Now, build it and install it."
Of course, if I had a computer that could do the entire job, the C3P0 AutoSynthesize module would crash, causing the Windows Warp 7 Holographic Display to reveal the dreaded "Black Hole of Death", sucking my entire shop down to a singularity.
Having just excused myself for cup of real Starbucks, I was spared the meltdown but not the catcalls from my friends in AstroVille telling me their new Apple Antares systems never have these problems, even when running Parallel Universes.
Some guy in Ytterbium, B.C. will chime in that his MultiClone with automatic molecule changer would have done the entire job without a requiring him to do a single quantum leap. Raygun would wake up from his afternoon sleep cycle, finish out some panels using the Matter, Dark, Overlay coating system, while reminding the MultiClone operator that his great great great great great granddaughter is still cuter than Multi's great great great great granddaughter.
A short while later, the feedback loop would degenerate into comments about the merits of anti gravity trampolining, organic pod gardening, using phasers in theaters when teens won't put their communicators away, and why rocket plans can't be sold on this side of the galaxy.
Oh well, I'll just grab the new Fly's Electronics ad and build another system, which will only set me back about forty eight gazillon dollars. It's a good thing this stuff's so cheap these days.

Well, I don't have ESP but I used to have deja vu's every once in a while. Dreamed just last night that I was levitating, but I think the spicy sausage dog I had at the Relay For Life was resposible for that. I had no idea Joe was having surgery, although I knew he had some health problens in the past. Was just having a little fun at Joe's expense, and I also realize that his building is not really crooked.
We've been eating lettuce, asaparagus, broccoli and potatoes from our vegetable garden. LynnDee is cooking some fresh green beans, potatoes, and cabbage from it right this minute. The yellow squash bushes are loaded and we'll probably be eating some of those tomorrow. We also have corn, onions, peanuts, peas, okra, and some of Michael Boones garlic out there.
Joe, I hope everything goes well and that you get a clean bill of health. And that's a fine garden you have there. Keep up the good work!
