I always get a kick out of the rolling billboards that some sign shops have cruising around.
I thought it would be fun to post our shop vehicles. So here is my old Aerostar (still a work in progress) it creaks and whines but still makes it up and down San Francisco hills just fine. I did everything in One Shot by hand, but will be adding some vinyl lettering soon.
So here's my jalopy, what you got cruising around?

How about doing something dimensional on your Dakota ? Maybe some sideboards if you don't have a shell or something on top of the shell if you do.....?

Man, Dan, I've heard of chopped, channeled, and sectioned....but "squnched"? That's a new concept. Looks pretty cool, but kinda a tight fit. Got one wheelie bar for the back...and how about some functional headlites?

Here's my fleet. 1986 work horse ex fedex van over 200k (I need a new label for that one shot can on the bumper) and the "new" in 2003 E350 76k striped by none other than Joey "pita" Madden. . .

The shark is hdu carved and shaped to the contour of the van (there's a lot of curve there) then it was glued with black silicone and vhb tape, the same stuff they use to adhere factory emblems with.

Is that the same Pita that supports your being overstocked with supplies? Jerry warned me about you and although I overlook your non constructive attitude towards me I understand its because of your christian values which makes you so negative.
God bless you

That was before the gas station attendant pulled the can and brush from its glued position on the bumper and handed it to me saying I must have left it on there by mistake. Jon done a great job on the lettering yet it was me who mixed the colors and done the outlines which don't mean Jack to some but the triangle's color actually disappears under the sun and appears in the shade. Jon is a true professional whose priorities gets lost sometimes. What do you expect from a guy who raised 5 kids mostly on his own, I applaud him mostly..

Joey did an excellent job of enhancing my already perfect lettering. And the triangle really does disappear in certain lighting its an awesome effect.

Dale, you know I can hand paint that no problem at all, but why? It will have to be removed next year anyhow... As much as people on here love the old ways, sometimes it just does'nt make sense to do it that way... but like you, I too love the Fine Art of Hand Lettering.

I did that in '92. It cured my drinking & driving! Haven't done it since!! The '51 chevy had a Camaro front clip, 350 engine (built by the guy that did my racing engines) & Camaro rear. It was an awesome car & won a few car shows! Good thing I installed seat belts when I built it! After it rolled three or four times it hit a tree (upside down) and stopped it! I only got three broken ribs, a broken collar bone and a broken jaw (the fire extinguisher broke loose. A perfect ring the size of the bottle was on my face!) I was lucky! Whenever I drive my Corvette I drink "Ice Tea"!!!

The amazing thing is, that as I sit here in Progreso Mexico tonight, one of the couples we met up with Chilliwack in July are staying right next door!
How about having a high school friend from 50 years ago end up right next door???
(yes she did ask about accomodations LOL and we arranged things.)
The internet is wonderful that way!!!
