I was thinking of having another meet April 2-4, 2010. I was wondering who might be interested. I like to plan them about a year in advance to get all of the details worked out. It will probably take me that long to get this place ready also. It will also give folks a chance to plan for it. It will be really casual with GREAT weather hopefully and lots of friends.

I've driven longer for a lot less. Count me in. Don, did I have a phone conversation with you when I used to live in SC? I think It was you, I hooked you up with Mark from hi lift?

That is right Dawud. It will be a pleasure to finally meet you in person. Can't wait to see those I've not seen in a while here. Now you have a little over a year to plan. We also have two new hotels in town and hopefully a couple of new restaurants.

I've been trying to visit all the states in the great U.S. of A. I need both Carolinas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alaska and Hawaii to complete my goal -- and I'm not gettin' any younger. So if the wife says we can we'll be there. Can't miss the opportunity to bundle a meet in with my goal.
Might make a vacation out of it and bring the fishin' poles. I hear largemouth bass are huge down South.

That's right, Joe, with the two of you -- two guys who don't have to be taught how to visit -- a third guy would have to be fine with lookin' out the window and hangin' on in the curves.

I'm glad to hear that Donald is willing to do this again. He is the straight man, and Ryan's the comic.
Them boys are A-OK with me.
The last meet he had, I went with my grandaughter, Racheal. We drove up to GA on the backroads...I was teaching her how to read a roadmap.
Every time we got close to a town, I'd ask her which way do we turn when we get there. And she did good.
It was about an 8hr. trip for us, and we didn't get on the road until 5:30pm.
But we had so much fun. In between making sure we didn't get lost, and messin' with the radio.
We went from the Florida/Georgia line, all the way to Laurens, singing the whole way to different stations. That child knew the words to every country song, that was ever written.
It was a little scary to know that she also knew all the words to every rap song too. That's when I got lost. But you gotta give kids some room.
Racheal was 13 or so, at the time. She had just been diagnosed with ADHD. Well I'll tell you what...she sat alongside me for about 12 hours, totally focused on painting, and also wandered around and met everyone. I saw no inability to focus, and so after the meet, we told the doctor no.
Sheila painted her a very beautiful panel that she still has in her bedroom. It was all meaningful, for her, and me too.

Jeff; Who said Doctors know what they're talking about anyway? They just wanna prescribe medications so they get free lunches and golf outings.
Donald; when I saw the proposed rescheduling I was praying for a late March date. I guess I will have to hope that my racing schedule will permit a trip back to the great south. I had way too much fun to miss another one. I might even drag a friend or two with me this time.
