I have a 15"x46" skeleton od a fish to carve and they call out a two-part polyurethane hardcoat. Then painted with a Dupont Imrom paint. The carving is the fun easy part. Is there a hardcoat I can buy in small amounts to simply brush on, then prime and paint.

You can always brush on some good old epoxy. It won't hurt EPS. The first coat will look like crap. Second looks better and the third will make you smile.
