Easter is just around the corner, and I sat down the other night and started drawing this stylized crucifix....
My thought was to see if I could get it to look sort of like a "hand stripe" sort of style, but alas, I suck in that department I guess...it looked more caligraphic in nature... and then I didn't know how to treat the face...
But those things aside, I think it turned out alright... and I thought it was timely and might be a nice gift for anyone that wants it - might come in handy for a church sign of some sort down the road. It's my own creation and copyright free!
If ya like it and want it just post here and I'll email you one...it's vector - .ai file with a placed bitmap for the glow.
Let me know if you need a CorelDraw or an Illustrator file

Todd, thanks for the file, and I'm glad you sound like you're interested in my suggestion to offer selling or licensing your artwork to some paid clipart download sites.
It's great that you are sharing this with your friends, but you may do well selling artwork too... which in turn may inspire more artwork than you are already producing.
If you had a website, or if you arranged something with Steve... it might be convenient to save your file in a .zip format & upload to a webserver, so you could post a link that allows a download. I saved my illustrator copy as an .eps version 3 file (for most universally suitable compatibility) and hosted it on my server to show you what I mean. I did try it out, and the version 3 seems to have stripped out the rastor "glow" ...but check it out, it could save a little time on emailing so many:

Well Stephen then why don't you get busy with your new tablet and make an image of mother earth for everybody Took a while, figured you or a couple others here would somehow try to derail a nice gesture.
Good work Todd.

Todd, it's too bad you didn't post this a week ago or I would have really pressed you to put it on the Istock website. I know a couple of designers there and I think you probably could make a nice allowance with stuff like that. It's probably a little too close to Easter for that particular image to do really well now, but I think it would have been popular. There is a few designers here that seem to have the style and ability to do well with stock images. In addition to you, Doug Phillips, Russ McMullin, John Deaton, just to name a few. You all seem to have the ability to produce a "generic" (I mean that in a good way, not suggesting that your work is not individual) design that appeals to everyone's tastes. Nice Job!
