Hi guys - it's been quite a while since I logged on to the site, I have recently moved from Canada to Scotland, so at least i have an excuse. Anyway, on to my question.
What Production/tracking/accounting software do you guys use?
We're an industrial screen printer, doing lots of lable and decal sets (so we're a little diferent than the average bear) - while in Canada, I basically used Quickbooks to run the accounts, invoicing etc. but I also knew people who used software called CASper, although I didn't really like it (it was not very user friendly).
Now I need some software that not only does the usual.. ie: Quoting Work Orders Invoicing
but also something that it a little more MS Access based (using data bases) so I can price jobs that pick and choose inventory items etc..
If you understand the question I am asking, you may be able to help me out. I have found something called Clarity Professional, but there must be some form of software out there primarily for the sign guys..

Estimate won't do accounting...per se. It will let you create estimates, and there is a plugin that will allow it to transfer over to Quickbooks.
It will allow you to use quotes and work orders.
