Very impressive Joe...if it works...continue on!
I know one thing...people who want to spend some money on an original piece, like to see the same artisans around from year to year...it makes them feel better, knowing they haven't wasted their money on stuff that will not last.
Plus it gives them bragging rights, knowing they have just purchased an heirloom.
Good on you, Joe...keep on keepin' on !

Wish me luck, are you kidding? With a talent like yours luck has nothing to do with it. You do beautiful work and deserve top dollar for such quality work. Some day, hope to take in the show. Bill

I am going to the Big E this year. Lived here all my life and have never been to the Big E. I will stop by and say Hi. I think I am going to take a day off and go so its not so crowded. When is better to go near the beginning or the end?

Jake.....stay away from weekends and Connecticut day. The gates open at 8am but the buildings don't open till ten. If you get there early, check out the grounds and make a plan.....75 acres covers a lot of turf!!!!
See You there....I'm in Storrowtown Village....it's on all the maps!

Great looking display Joe. Only thing I'd change is that lamp. Can't you find an antique that would work? After all EVERYTHING else there is old. Seriously....beautiful work as always.

hmmmm......Joe,17 solid 12 hour days, back to back, with a good stream of potential customers AND with good odds of lining up more than 6 months worth of orders? Sounds like a good deal to me! What kind of total attendance does the Big E fair generate?
Regardless, you've got the booth lookin' good so I'll wish you the best of luck & don't forget to enjoy yourself!
p.s. Kelly's got a good point about the lighting and I'm pretty sure that, being the diplomat she is, she meant to say "vintage" instead of "old"

JOE...... You spelled "Cieslowski Woodcarving" wrong. The displayed exhibit says "Connecticut Woodcarvetrs"... are you selling Connecticut stuff, or Cieslowski originals????? You know that old limrick "There once was a man from Nantucket"? Well the Nantucket guy I know travels around the world for hand made originals like yours to satisfy his following of customers for his antique shop on Nantucket.Call me if you want his phone number. OT... JOE... the battleship Missouri hosted the Japanese surrender by Yamamoto after the war, I cant find where the German SS was rounded up and signed a treaty.
