I'm not sure if many of you know Cos', but he is not feeling to well, and if you could keep him in your prayers it would help alot.
Bob is considered by many as the father of the East Coast or Jersey style lettering, mentor to many including myself, Glen Weisgerber, Rich Dombey, and a good friend of George Perkins.
So please keep him and his family in your prayers.

geez I'm sorry to hear that and hope the Cos gets up the strength to stay around since he definately is the king of Jersey style. His work and style has inspired all of us whether anyone knows that or not.

I held off posting anything, as Cos asked me not to say anything at first. He was diagnosed with cancer a few months back. They operated on him and removed the cancerous tumors and he is now undergoing chemo and radiation. Other than his voice being raspy, you'd never know there was anything wrong with him. His spirits are very, very high and he still clowns around like always. We talk a couple of times a week and I will keep everybody posted from now on about how he is doing.

I talked with Bob today and he did sound well, but his voice was very rough sounding. But he did sound like his usual self, talk your ear off and then all of a sudden say "I gotta go".
We need more people in this business and this world like Cos', he's one of a kind!
