I don't mean to be harsh but I'd scrap that design and pay to have a professional design you a good logo. Image is everything and you won't have one with that design.
By the way, do you do free pin striping? My truck could use a few lines to spruce it up.

I gotta go with Dave on this. That design isn't going to make much of an impression.
I can't tell if its A/, Al, A1 or AI from that font. Sure, it's right out of the modern business playbook...start your company name with the letter "A" to head to the top of the phone book listings...but in this case it ain't working. While someone driving by is trying to figure it out, they'll never see the rest of the info.
IMHO, having a "rough look" to the artwork fights the nature of what you're offering. If your making cars smother and cleaner, wouldn't a smoother and cleaner design be more appropriate?
Kerning on the phone number's too tight.
"Need criticism on a sign for my truck"
I never look at a vehicle as something I'm going to "put a sign on" unless you are planning magnetic ones. The color of the truck, the trimming and shapes/contours on a vehicle can either work with or against a design. That design seem a bit to square to fit most pickup truck doors.
A good general rule I have lived by for years is that the average truck door has between 3 and 5 seconds to be seen and get the message across, whether it's moving or someone is driving by it while it's parked. Clean, clear, high contrast and to the point works best.
Click here for a number of different vehicles I've done over the years. Might find something that inspires a better look for your new venture.
Have a good one. Rapid

I like the logo...but find a font that says "professionalism" you're using way to much casual.
Find Mike Stevens book and study it then make another attempt.
The only thing that could be done with what you have presented is a "patch" on the door.
If you want it to be eye catching you need a better layout that will cover the entire side of the truck (not necessarily a wrap)with good bold professional lettering that emphasizes the most important feature first and least important last. Keep trying and ask others for help ...you'll get it.

Sorry, TJ...that one got bought a year ago.
Bart, Someone once said to me, "Once you get paid to do something, you're a professional." That may be true, but it doesn't mean that they are all experienced or capable of suiting every need.
Despite my experience, that often includes me sometimes. I don't do vehicle wraps, so if you wanted to go that route, I couldn't help you. Given some crash courses, I could probably design one, but with inexperience, it may not come out as well as someone else could do it.
Sometimes it's the need that determines which "professional" you hire. Start there. Mags, vinyl lettering, some illustration, painting, pinstriping, etc. Check out their portfolios and ask questions. It'll help you determine who to hire. Once you do, let them do what they do. They are the pro. Input is good, but sometimes offering too many details can hinder them doing what you really wanted to get from them....a good looking, professional design.

Hi Bart, I don't know if I would use the name A-1.....A guy using the same name came through here several years ago and left owing money to myself and others.
