Im doing windshields and it's supposed to read "2.9 apr"

My problem is the "9". It looks fine from my perspective, but from the front it's not straight.

Not a letterman, so layout is probably the problem.

Any ideas for a beginner?

reminds me of when dad got a new tv, complained of distortion in the picture, i turned the set straighter to him to compensate for the compound curve of the screen, problem solved!
Maybe turn the car a little?

on a more serious note, use a quick casual bouncy heavily italicized style, it'll look like you meant it that way, and like billy says, I.O.A.F.W., If you have to ask, it means 'It's Only A F.......G Windshield!

Try a different letterstyle that doesn't feature a gothic 9. Make one up if need be.
