Has anyone ever used a product called PVC Intergral foam?? I'm pricing out large billboards for a customer that would like a white surface. Signs to last approx. 10 years. Once in a while some of the lettering may have to change. Didn't want to use painted surface because the paint would come with the vinyl when lettering changes were needed. Does the Intergral product hold up to Canadian weather...does it change colour like sintra does when it yellows?

I am pricing out dibond, alumiply and alumicore as well. The product was suggested by my supplier. Trying to find cheapest but most effective substrate. I have to price two signs at 16'x24'. Also 2 signs at 10'x28'.

I'say if you have to change copy from time to time, the baked aluminum is gonna be your ssfest bet. Might be a LITLE more, but will save you the headaches...
Why can't you paint it? Then you could just block out what you need to change and reletter.
Just seems easier to me.

If the client really wants something more affordable, I would say to scrap the rigid substrate idea and just go with a billboard wrap or a printed banner. It can last several before looking bad and it's relatively cheap.

There is another product like Dibond that is much less expensive. N&F Sign supply stared to stock it and booted out Dibond. Al-u-panel I think is what it is called.

Hi Brenda If you are thinking about Intecel, it is a solid PVC product that comes in 10mm,13mm and 18mm...I used to use it quite a lot and it worked very well for me...didn't yellow...have some signs that have been out there for 8 years or so. I switched to Dibond for a couple of reasons...less expensive, a LOT lighter, cuts better, Intecel melts when cut if you go too fast. Want to know more? Gimme a call. MUR
