I am looking for a Z-Axis motor for an old Gerber AR400 router that I have had since new, but now most parts are obsolete. Can anyone suggest a source, new used or rebuilt?. Any help would be appreciated.............John

John if you look on your Motor there should be some markings as what the voltage and torque rating etc and what size it would be like NEMA 23 Mounting pattern. Since its an older router it is probobaly a open loop type. and the stepper configuration.
With all that info you could order a new one from most Industrial tool supplies. Or just take the motor off and take it to a shop like Granger or a Industrial tool supply there in CA.
Hope that Kinda Helps.
