Hey all, been having a bear of a time getting strange machines to preform properly, about time I have written post, machine ends session, leaving me frustrated and waiting for next session to try again, this is fifth attempt and I'm making it short to ensure it's posting, figured out, I'll post short ones, and maybe that way, machine will turn off after I've posted....

Lodi was such a treat, very well planned and from this perspective, very well run, kudos to Tony and his staff for that one...though, hotdogs w/o pomp and circumstance, are just that, hotdogs....heheheh, never mind... Met up w/ Cat, wonderful lady, wish we'd had more time to talk, a common concern amongest those attending, time to sit and talk w/contempories, so we weren't only ones voicing that concern...Dawg and Kelly were fun to follow, heheh, Dan made a great team leader, go wiggleyliners!!!!!
Others I met included Jeff Ogden, and his granddaughter, another w/whom I wished I'd had more time to sit and talk with; Dale Manor and his daughter, another case of not enough time to go around, I''m sure Dale and I could have talked cars till dawn; Tracie Johnson was a pleasure to meet for first time, her and Scotty hit it right off, must have found his spot; David Harding snuck in from nearby neighborhood and got put to work, heheeh, for a g uy that doesn't letter, his sign sure was ledgiblle, and funny, as sharp in person as on BB, there again, no real time for sit down talk; about time for this machine to act up, sending........................magoo/scotty

To continue, other first time meetings were, David and Susie Butler, of course quite the delight, great couple and David is ever bit the pro, ran a tight squad and still made time to be nice; Danny Baronian and his lovely wife were sweet surprise for me, I didn't know he would be there; didn't get back to meet Bill Reidel, but I think he noticed me, heheheh; same fate with some others I would have liked to meet personal and all, but they were busy and I'm not going to interrupt art progress to just say hi when it can be done later, even oon another date.....
utt oh, machine is sending messages of impending closure, later ........magoo/scotty

Frank...it was good to finally meet you as well. Just after you left the Butler mural, a bluegrass band wandered over and started playing right there in the parking lot....how cool was that!! I told them they needed to find you as they had every instrument BUT the banjo...then we were serenaded by two teenage boys playing twin fiddles after the first band moved on. Maybe you heard them elsewhere during the wine-stroll that was going on that eve. You showing up was a pleasant surprise and so was the music.

It was good to see you enjoying yourself Frank. Here are a few of the photos I took. That's quite a vehicle for one dog. At least he lets you use the driver's seat.
Jeff and Dan, it was really great to meet you as well. Thanks very much for dinner Jeff. I hope to see you again sometime so I can return the favor. I also want to see you letter. Dan, I really appreciate the information about the routers. I'm sure I'll be bugging you about it again soon.
My mind wanders. And that's not a good thing, 'cause it's too small to be out there alone. Posts: 3129 | From: Tooele, UT | Registered: Mar 2005

Lodi is the first meet I can ever remember missing that I was reeeeaaaalllllyyyy bummed about missing. Knowing that you got there, Magoo, makes it ever worse.
Sadly though it just wasn't in the cards. Everytime I thought a window was opening so that maybe I could go, ends up the window was painted shut. Still haven't figured out why the universe didn't want me to go to Lodi, but I did have myself a 1 day teeny-weeny mini-meet to soothe my pain. Hey, that means the Lodi meet spanned 2574 miles!

Frank, I think we will have to arrange a meet where after all the work is done we take one full day just to talk and catch up on all the folks we want to meet. Lodi was very special and there was so much to do, I worked right up to the moment I had to leave.

You were one of the people on my list of those I really wanted to meet at Lodi. I've always appreciated your helpfulness and sense of doing what is right by people. I'm so glad we did get to visit and I truly enjoyed our (way too short) time together.
You need to keep Scotty from eating those green chickens!

It was great to finally meet you guys in Lodi. It is too bad that I didn't stay in one spot long enough to chat for a while. I did get to see Scotty eyeing up the green chicken though...pretty funny!
Perhaps the next time we get together at a meet, we'll have time to sit down and talk cars for a while. If I could only sit down for over 5 minutes at a time!
