If I had to pick one, it might be blue. I do tend to lean more toward "earthtones". But I don't think I really have a favorite color...I like 'em all so I would consider myself in the "mixed color" group.

I think red is my favorite. Whether a color looks good really depends on its neighbors, so I don't have any strong prejudices. Just about any color can look good in the right context.
My mind wanders. And that's not a good thing, 'cause it's too small to be out there alone. Posts: 3129 | From: Tooele, UT | Registered: Mar 2005

Looking at my wardrobe it's a fierce battle between blue, green and black.
My truck was Tourmaline colored (blue-green) before I attacked it with a welder and angle grinder. It will likely emerge with a fresh white base topped with candy blue over MirraChrome graphics.
Even my website is in a blue and black scheme, with some chrome thrown in.
Right now I'm wearing black and red but one of my favorite outfits is a process blue shirt with bright orange board shorts aww yeah finish that off with black socks and white tennis shoes.

Let's hear it for tertiary colors: Cape Cod Blue, brick red, gold brown, etc.
In a way, 'context is everything'. Popping colors for window splash, warm colors for food (as in I'll pass on the blue mashed potatoes) careful colors for houses.
Colors also have associations. Things you remember having to do with certain colors. I'm beginnig to consider the phosphorous white tennis shoes as a status symbol of sorts. Man, that white wouldn't last five minutes in my world.
When I was a kid, my favorite color was blue, but now it's about combinations: yellow orange blending into light ivory on a dull navy blue background with off black outline. (Just did one like that, so it's fresh in my mind) Charcoal gray with light tan. Yellow with black.

Right Chuey, can I be Han then? When I was a kid all the other guys at the park would fight over who got to be Luke, I always got to be Han. We never had a Lea though, which is probably good for me since there weren't a lot of good looking girls in the ol' hood.
P.S. HAN SHOT FIRST!

. . . this is one of those should-be-easy but hard-to-answer questions for me . . .
I think Joey's right about certain colours for certain things. mabey the question should be . . . "what's your fav colour for ____ item?"
I always initially answer 'black' is my fav colour . . .
. . . but then I remember how stimulated my mind is by seeing several vibrant colours together like you might see in beautiful Mexican art and dishware . . . and then on the other hand, I really like all the rust colurs and beigey-sand colours and muted sage greens of earth tones . . . then I drift right over to really rich wine colours and deep-dark green and purple, and gold . . .
*sigh*
