I will split it with you, I will be there on my move across country! Kimberly, I will be your new neighbor up in San Francisco later in June. We will meet up at one of the many 'Head events there I'm sure.

We're working on it. Here's what I can tell you . . . We've got about 15 of the 18 seminar slots filled, keying mainly on signpainting, goldleaf, layout and design, color theory and striping. Don't have final registration costs yet, but it should be around $125.00 for the three days, which includes admission to the Zoo and parking; two better-than-continental-breakfasts; two full dinners and two full lunches. One dinner is famous Montgomery Inn ribs and chicken. We've neogtiated rates with a hotel about five minutes way with rates of $79 per night per single and $89 per double. It has plenty of free parking and will provide shuttle to and from Zoo. We are working on a website for the meet so you can register on-line and then click-through directly to the hotel and reserve rooms. We have three open air shelters, plus a "vehicle graphics" tent. The largest shelter (capacity: 400 people)will house exhibitors as well as be the site to get the various meals. Plenty of picnic tables around for chatting and eating. I'm working hard on getting this altogether, while also working on SIGNS OF THE TIMES' anniversary issue, not to mention the museum . . . so thanks for your patience. Hope to have website up by end of February. Oh yah: The dates are June 16-18. See y'all there.

I'm glad someone has asked the question. I was getting a little worried as I've already booked my flights to come to the states in June!!! I had horrible visions of it all being cancelled. Still, I guess it wouldn't be too bad to hang around in Cincinatti for a while anyway!!!!
Looking forward to meeting up with old friends and making some new one.
See you in June Barb x

This should be a fantastic gathering. There are some really outstanding folks already signed up to do seminars and Tod will make sure that everything is perfect.
I missed the first Zoo meet, but not this one. Being part of the ST's 100th Anniversary, seeing the Sign Museum, and gathering with Letterheads from around the country (and world for that matter) is going to be very special.
For those that may be new to this association of craftsmen, Tod was very instrumental in getting the original Letterhead movement off the ground. His background is in journalism - the Swormstedt family has published Signs of the Times for a century now. For years, ST was our only publication, and honestly, it didn't cater very much to the small Mom and Pop commercial shop.
When those guys started meeting in Rick Flores' garage in Denver and conceived the Letterheads, Tod went out on a limb with his family and pushed ST to give more coverage to this small band of dedicated artists. He found the old plates for many of the books ST had published way back in the beginning and had them reprinted. If I remember correctly, some were actually rescued from the dumpster and saved for us....due to Tod's love for our business.
The Sign Museum is another of Tod's passions. For years he has worked to bring it to reality. He rightly deserves a pat on the back from all of us.
At the same time Tod was endorsing the Letterheads, the McIltrot brothers were establishing SignCraft Magazine and jumped in to back the Letterhead movement 110%. Tom McIltrot has been a pivotal gear in making sure that quality signwork is shared with others. Many have learned this craft through the pages of SignCraft.
Tod and Tom....you are to be commended. Thanks for your efforts on behalf of the rest of us.
MDO is calling....gotta go to work.
