From talking to American Letterheads, this looks like one incredible bargain. If it's for real, I'd be interested in seeing what sort of incentive might be available to a large Community like Letterville.
Thanks for the heads up Jack.

Hi Jack and a very Happy Birthday to you Mr. Mayor from Bob & Jen.
We keep trying to get low cost health insurance for all of us, even those of us, Bob included who have pre-existing conditions. We have been trying for years and this is the first time that it actually looks like it might happen. This is our latest endeavor. For anybody who thinks we are making money off of this, we're not. We don't have the time to invest but we have found people in the insurance industry who do and will. Namely, Jay Horowitz, Jan Shimkus and George DeMello.
We tried to get the Letterheads to organize with the Pinheads several years ago to get a group big enough. But were told that the Letterheads would never organize themselves into an association. Fast forward 15 years and there is now an official organization called the IAA (International Artisans Association). If this group grows big enough we will all benefit. This was one of the main reasons we started the Pinheads organization years ago.
The IAA has a lot of things to offer. But it needs to grow in numbers. With a name like IAA it can encompass self-employed people of many different fields.
The current President of the USA has mentioned that this type of group of self-employed was possible and so now we are going to see if it is true. Although by law you cannot start a group for the sole purpose of health insurance hence the group of artisans for membership and side benefits.
Jen and Josh just signed up for an HSA Health Savings Account through Golden Rule for $150 a month. It does have a high deductible to get such a low price but with the HSA we can put away money to cover that and misc. medical expenses tax free and so far it sounds like a really good deal. We meet with Jay on Wednesday. They're still working on a policy for me.
