Maybe Greer has fallen asleep while trying to figure out HIS router... hmmmmmmmm
Here in Yarrow we continue to figure out the workings of our MultiCam and are having a blast doing it!
Not every sign we tackle will be laden with textures and special effects. The MultiCam cuts out shapes real nifty too. This sign is three layers of 3/4" MDF plus the dimensional 1" thick MDF lolipop. We did two up as samples for a very large upcoming job - one for our wall and one for the customer.
This sign will be run many, many times in a large variety of sizes, and this is where the router shines... and hopefully pays itself off quickly too!
Still waitng on that Greer guy and his router....

Dan, that's the ugliest Helvetica I've ever seen! You'd better send that MultiCam back to Texas so Raymond and I can check it out for a couple of years. We'll get it to cuttin' straight lines again for ya'.

After two weeks of intensive training the MultiCam Router is just starting to think like me with WIGGLEY lines and all. I fugure it will still be a couple of weeks before I can really trust it.
NO WAY I'm sending it south again. I waited too long for this machine! MultiCam envy or not - Raymond AIN"T getting MY MultiCam.
Good try though.

Here's a piece I did for the panel exchange for Karyn Bush. It's multi-dimensional as well as multi- technical using my Multicam cut aluminum, pvc, 2 & 3d carving with digital printing and hand spun gold leaf.
Routers are great time saving tools but it's ones imagination that really makes them shine. I know that in the mind of Dan, we're all going to see what they can really do.
I run my machine every day and could never go back to working in this business without one.

There's hardly a single sign I see now that doesn't get my mind going in a big way.... even the 'dimensional' signs... what if I were to add a little another layer there... and maybe make it bow out there...
While most folks make their routers work very well... mine's gonna SING!
I'm currently behind about 1002 ideas now... just wait til we get it all figured out...
We are getting an afternoon of private lessons from the EnRoute folks next week... starting about where most folks leave off... all is fair in love and ROUTER WARS...
Stand back Greer! Its gonna blow!!!!!!!!!!
I know.... churp, churp, churp...

(and while we're picking on Dan, looks like you chopped off the upper left serif on the letter 'N's- maybe you can rout a new one & superglue it back on, please??? )

I was in the Beaver Dam last weekend in Toronto with Steve and mentioned the Router Wars and he was very defensive! I think he is having trouble running it off the 286 PC....
