I have a question about my Summa D610.

How much should 2 pinch rollers cost? $94.00?
I gotta have 'em but it seems like a lot.

Is there a place that sells parts or is that just how much they are worth?

Thanks for your input.

Sue

Hi Sue:

Sorry; they are spendy little buggers. The replacement kit, while small, has some precision parts that drives up the cost. And they're not off-the-shelf items. So even though we have them made in quantities in the thousands, they're not as cheap as they would be if they were mass-produced items like computer parts, which are manufactured in millions quantities.

Since you're using a SummaSign D610, I'm hoping you got quite a few years of service from your first set of rollers. So you may already know this. But in case not, it extends the life of the rollers if they're left in the up position when not in use.

Best Regards,

Jim Doggett

Thanks for your reply Jim, and I have had good service from my Summa. Wish I had another for a back-up.

Do you have any tips for changing these rollers out? I'm hoping it will be pretty obvious.

Always good to hear from you.

Sue
