My sweet Jenny graduated from home schooled Visions In Education high school Thursday night. We've been partying ever since. I'm sooo proud of her. I had to share . . .
 -

She is an awesome young lady. Working full time for the last year, making mroe money than me! She's off to Jr. College in the fall to get all the basic courses out of the way and figure out her "career" choice. Some of you have met her and know she's a dynamite kid.
All her friends came and party'd right along with us old fogey's, and we didn't even mind the music.
they took over the living room as their dance floor and the old farts party'd in the back yard.
Call me an old fool, but I let the one's not driving drink a few beers. then i made them all eat (which didn't take much persuading!). Now I've got to scrub the cake off the hall walls -
what fun we all had. they made me feel younger for the night. They call me "Mama Bear" as they know I'll be there if they get in trouble, and know where they can come anytime just to chat or whatever. jenny's got a great group of friends.
She's gonna go far . . .
a very proud Bomba-Dear

Ya know, I just have to add some more. This is a kid that went thru pure hell quite a few times in her life. From an abusive dad that I moved her far away from before she was 2 years old, to a school district that wanted her on Ritilin, to a day care facility that made fun of her, to a high school that totally ignored her awesome potential refusing to give her college prep courses. This is a kid I've fought tooth & nail for all of her life. This is a kid that experienced ridicule, hearbreak, a mean daddy. This is a kid that put up with a Mom out of control on pain killers last year because of an operation (emptying my potty chair - helping me shower, good Lord!). This is a kid that adjusted to a new father through marriage (a wonderful man who took her side many a time). This is a kid that has ended up a joy to the very core of my soul. This is a kid that had endured it all, and still has that smile in her eyes. Why? Because through it all, her Mom loved her more than anything in the world. Cisco helped me through a few times - Steph "The Moon" helped me through a few more. And often times, through Letterville, I learned much. I heard the appreciation and joy of others here with children.
It kept me going. It kept me focused. It kept me in total awe and love of my child. Letterville, in part, is a result of this kids success. She is awesome. She will thrive. She will always be the best that she can be. And that, my dear friends, is because of many of you!!!!!!!
Thank you,
Bomba-Dear

Hey all I can say is She a WARRIOR!! I remember in '97, Richard Bustamante and myself went on a sign tour and you were the first offer for some Chili Cheese Omletes, so we we went for it. We got to meet your brother Bob who is also an artist. From that, it was the beginning of a new meeting of Letterheads. I got to meet you, and Jennifer was just a child. Now she is a young lady ready to take on the world. Go for it Jennifer!! You're on top of the world! You're only limitation is your imagination! Sorry I couldn't make it to your graduation, I hope you understand...Cisco

Congratulations and best of luck, Jenny.

hey Mario - that cookbook is in the hands of Steve & Barb . . . someday . . . .
All it really needs is printing. As I remember it's about 200 pages long. If I win the lottery, I'll get it printed - and THAT's a promise !!
