So today I get another call from a solicitor.. you know the ones, you can spot 'em a mile away because when you pick up the phone there's a long pause before anyone says anything.
Something got into me today.
When the other person asked to speak with me, by name, I responded with:
"Suuure. I just need a credit card number then we can get started."

Good one, Mike! I sure coulda used this idea 2 weeks ago! I'm just getting myself untangled, coincidentally, from a shady merchant services marketer!. . . Lo-o-ong Story. . .(and you thought "slamming" was limited to long distance carriers!)

I must be too nice, but if I'm not to busy, I listen and talk to them, then I tell them I'm not interrested but I only talked to them so they could have a job.
