sorry bout that , i dont know what happened there. my problem is this , i have been working on a set of 2004 harley tank and fenders painting for about three weeks on this and finally two days ago i did the pinstriping on them around all the flames with one shot vermilion red . i let the pinstripe sit for two days and today i put the first coat of urethane clear on them and almost immediatly the pinstripe is lifting and wrinkling up !i did a light coat of clear , the paint is less than a year old and have never had this kind of problem with any other one shot product. ive used this can of paint many times before with the same clear and nver had any problems, any help would be greatly appreciated, jason

Jason that happened because clearing one shot is iffy at best no matter what anyone tells you or whether its catalyzed or not.....it either works or it doesnt and sometimes you can cheat it for years and get away with it but eventually its gonna catch up....it really has nothing to do with the color, its just the nature of the product.

thats two recent topics on this same subject that i can remember, and if you hit the search button up top and type clearing one shot or something like that you'll probably get a page of old posts about the subject with more than anyone can remember to type on this one. It felt cured on top,was soft underneath and when it started to bite the base to crosslink the solvent ate up the one shot or pulled on it,depending on the degree of wrinkling you have.
