Great meet. About 67 people there. Looney tune characters were abundant in the various panels. The race car owner loved the paint job on his car- flames, flowers, skull. There were were people from near and far. Thanks Ray (and thank your wife).

Thanks for putting on such a great meet in such a beautiful part of the world.
Thank Rex and the rest of the Caulder clan for their hospitality too
It was nice seeing old freinds and making new freindships
Billy D your the man! were you really drunk thursday night when we showed up?
For those of you who dont know, William DeBekker is a great guy. Even greater once you spend a weekend with him. A little nuts, but arent we all.
I cant wait for my next meet! Hopefully I wont be tired fgor the next one. This being tired even before I get to a meet has got to stop, it really takes its toll on my "meet attitude" I cant seem to get the eyeballs focusing anymore, that makes it tough for me to paint.

You really pulled this one off. It was well planned, well organized, and well supplied... Except for not having enough coffee.
The facility was great. There was plenty of room for all the tables and having the wall benches worked out great.
It was good to have the race car there. Dana really enjoyed doing the one rear quarter panel. It was really great to see the car owner make that announcement of thanks. There was someone who really appreciated the work we did for him.
I could go on for another hour of all the fun we had but we just got home a bit ago and I am whooped. The drive is a little over 10 hours. It really sucked but you can believe that we thought it was well worth it.
Thanks again, Ray!

Thanks Ray, Gump, and everyone else who made this weekend possible. You pulled it off folks. A "looney" time was had by all... Leaf peeping, flaming foliage, flamed race car, paint flying, striping, carving, sand blasting (thanks Everwood), cool panels, old friends, new friends - what a great time!! Thanks everyone.

Great time Ray! You did a fantastic job buddy. I know how much work you put into pulling this thing together. I can't tell you how much I appreciate it.
It was great to finally meet all of you, most for the first time. You all made this first timer feel very welcome.
Thank you Derusha Supply for being a part of it. Can't believe I'm gonna have you right in my backyard!
I especially need to thank Dana for the great panel....my wife loves it. Says she wants to decorate our kitchen in similar fashion.

Ray and Gump, This one knocked my educational socks off guys. The two of you made it one fine meet for me. I can't thank all of the people who were there and so free with advice and instructions enough. I'll be up to my a** in sand blast dust and gold scrap for months.
Thanks a million Ray, Gump, The Caulders and all the meet participants for giving me a weekend to remember.

Thanks for a great time. You guys did an awesome job! I learned a ton of stuff, and my brain was in such information overload that I couldn't sleep for the couple of days I was there, and the ride home went by quickly.
Thanks to Caulder Const. for the building, and all of the suppliers of products.
Special thanks to Mike Z. You gave a lot of good advice, and were great to talk to.
Capt Ken and Kimmy, thanks for all the laughs! Ken, you are one talented soul! Thanks for answering so many questions.
It was great to meet all these wonderful people, and so many more!
Once again, thanks Ray, this was in inspirational weekend.
Your first time meet attendee,....Bob

HUGE thank you to Ray, Gump, all the cool 'heads that showed up and to all the vendors. I know I'm going to forget someone that I want to personally make mention of, but I'll start with this....
John Meeks, from Everwood....if it weren't for his Everwood shirt and his giving so much in door prizes, foam, etc. to this meet, you'd never know he was a vendor. He's 1 of us.
Cameron, for his carving help. Cam spent about 1/2 hour or so with me teaching me how to hold and use the chisels. I could never find the words to express my gratitude for the amount of useful information I gleaned from that time. Priceless. Thank you for scooping me up at the airport too!
Captain Ken for bringing Kimmy. She's just way cool. If you guys ever split up, I vote we keep her instead of Ken.
It was great meeting chat friends finally: Bill DeBekker, way cool guy, even though he was one of those guilty of getting me drunk. Rick Bicycle, fun to abuse in person too. Ron Costa, just as cool in person.
And of course, spending time with old friends, some of which CAN read a map and not get lost in NH, ending up at the mere 28 miles of Oceanfrontage in the state.

Thanks Ray & Gump, great job! You have a great family and set of friends that really shined when you needed them.
I couldn't have asked for a better time. Two thumbs up. :)It was a pleasure meeting everyone for the first time as well as seeing all of the familiar faces.
Ray, I tried to keep up, but you wore me out. It was fun trying. Go to sleep!
An especially big thank you to Catharine Kennedy (where's the hug icon?)for the 100% handcrafted cabinet I won in the draw. And to Miss Dana for the beautiful flowers to give it that final touch. Sue and Kialy love it. They have both staked claim to it.
Sal, thanks for taking the time to paint one of your eagles on my helmet. I love it.
Hope to see you all soon.
edit- How can I forget? Thanks Harris for the ride and Bill D. for hooking us up with the cabin. I hope to meet up with you again Bill, it was a lot of fun hanging out on Colorado time.

Bob & Marcia Peach for their good natured fun panel...personalized too! As well as some great advice.
Cam Bortz for his insight on some of my upcoming jobs, as well as some carving advice.
Chris, Sal, Si, Dana, Bruce, Catherine, Bill Preston, Mike Z, Karyn, and many others for sharing not only their talent, but their obvious love of the "craft" with me.
And to Ron Costa, Diane, Irish, Bob K, Ken, and everybody else for just an all around unforgettable experience. (even Harris and his earring!)
It was well worth the trip from Michigan
Regards~

Hey Ray, Gump and all the other "Heads" at the looney meet. Ya'll made me feel like one of the family and not vendor. Of the serveral meets I have been to, this one by far ranks at the very top. I had so much fun it was easy to forget about promoting our product. Once again thanks to all, and I will never foget the weekend(especially the orange toe nails). Also thanks to Jeff and Robbie for letting Vince crash your meet. Wish I could have been there too! Thanks for allowing us to participate in your meet as well.
John Meeks P.S. How do I get the pictures that were posted from the meet.

This is just proof that sometimes hosting a meet can benefit the host in ways they never would have imagined.
PS; Ray, maybe we can do the 2 other special vehicles that didnt make it up there sometime in the near future. Might be good PR.

Ron and I Spent some time in the new digs last week. Sort of a test drive doing the "Timberwolf" design from the meet. We had a great time learning from each other about gold leafing a truck.
I'll be sure to post pics when the race car's done up. Rapid
