This past saturday I had the privilege of having Barb Murrell as a guest here at my shop for an improvsed mini panel jam. For those who don't know her, she is a talented and enthusiastic young lady from the UK. An absolute joy and inspiration to be around. Those who met her in Detroit know what I'm saying. I'd like to say thanks to Barb for sharing her time and enthusiasm. And of course, her British charm.

Mike, I'm glad that Barb got to meet such a nice guy as you. I'm sure that she enjoyed hanging out with you! Wherever two or more are gathered in the name of Letterheads....it's an EXCELLENT day. Love....Jill

My policy here is the same as Dan's. My doors are always open to any Letterheads that are passing through. Whether you just drop by to say hi or have a little time to visit, the 'welcome mat' is always out. I'm less than 5 mins. off of I-75.
I've gotten to meet a few of the folks here and have never met a better group of people. (Jill, you're one of my favs. I look fwd to the IM's. They make my day!) I hope to eventually meet each and every one of you.

Hi Mike, I haven't had a chance to look at this site for a while so have only just seen this post. Thank you for your kind words. It was and EXCELLLENT day. I learnt and tried loads of new stuff, even though my sandblasting trial was a bit hopeless. It was fun.
I can hardly get over how welcoming and generous everyone has been that I have met and for someone to email out of the blue to come and have a mini jam is just mindblowing.
I must tell everyone that Mike took time out, over four hours in all, just to pick me up and take me home again. Then to spend the day sharing his skills, hospitality, sense of humour and "hillbilly" charm! was fantastic. I feel like I am a real Letterhead now. Thank you Mike from your new friend Bob (say Barb with an English accent and you'll know what I mean)

I gotta say that it was a great pleasue to meet you and to also spend the day with you. You're probably the first to say that 4 hours in a pick-up truck with me was fun. It's been referred to as some other colorful things. hehehe
We'll blame your 'teacher' for that first sandblasting project I still think that you did fine:)
The only bad thing that I can think of out of the whole day was that it had to end way too soon.
I'm glad that I could be your host, and honored to be your friend.
