Just noticed our newest member is an old friend of mine that I treasure dearly, Sam Radoff, of Yosemite Sam fame, he's from Detroit originally and now is a canuck.
Sam's an all around artist, pinstriping, lettering, car builder, bronze artist, etc. The list is long!!! Welcome to Letterville Sam, expect to see some of your posts from time to time, eh? cool beans......magoo

Thanks Frank. I spent an hour on the phone with Sam this morning. He's just starting on this internet stuff, but he's a fast learner. Wish I could say the same for my old pal Keith Knecht.
I'm always amazed how someone like Sam has managed to escape me for so long. Longtime Letterheads often comment on the fact that many of the new people don't recognize names of people that are legends to many of us geezers.
You have to realize that many of our heros are no longer attending meets and allowing themselves to fade into the woodwork. Past polls indicate that less than half of you subscribe to any sign publication.
Another problem is that many old timers just don't take part in forums like Letterville. In a few cases, it may be their choice, but many just don't know how to use the computor. If you don't see your hero posting here, it may be time to call them up and see if you can help them get involved.

Frank is my hero! He stripes just as well with both hands
I know a fair amount of vehicle artists who aren't here because time is too valuable, it seems the internet is reverting some of us. I know I feel it at times.
Oh well, theres always chat.

Beware!!! If you don't have a computer hooked up Steve and Barb will come and hook it up and disappear like the lone ranger. It happened to me.
