A big thank you to Mike and everyone who made my son Josh feel so welcome. Josh (17) asked me last week if it was alright for him to attend and if there was anyone there who could teach him how to stripe. We got home today and Josh was so excited he can't wait to go back today (music to my ears). Frank Magoo gave him a sword striper and showed him how to prepare it to stripe. Bob Timmerman, Brian Briskie, Bruce Bowers, Rapid Ray and many others took a little time to give Josh tips and help him grasp the basics. We got back home around 11:30 pm and he wanted to practice instead of bed (very cool). Thanks guys for taking the time to instill some enthusiasm into a willing pupil.

Gump and I just got back and spent half the trip home laughing....
The kids were infectious and the energy they shot into some of these weary old paint folks was a joy to see.
Special thanks to... Mike and Shirley for putting such a wonderful gathering together...tres magnifique!
"Matty Mark" for the cool plate and "t-shirt trick" (Can't wait to try it!) and bringing me to the first place to card me for an ID in 20+ years. Dude, you rock!
Bruce and Dana for the beautiful panel for Sarah...it's a family heirloom already.
Luke for reminding me so much of when I first started out. Keep up the awesome work. You have a ton of talent!
Chris and Jill for the hugs and laughs...signchix are the best on the planet! I highly recommend them!
Harris for hanging in there when things went into "overtime" and being the best "Harris" I know. Let's get "stoned" again soon, bud.
Bill Preston for the beautiful panel and help with "Ethel". A real pleasure.
...and "everyone" for making this a delight to have been a part of.
and.......
Special thanks to Frank Magoo and Scotty, the Wonder Dog for being the cause of all this wonderment.

Great little meet! Michael and Shirley were excellent hosts. Kissy was a great chauffeur. Magoo is a character! The farm was beautiful. I even got to help feed Whitey! I never knew that a cow's tongue feels like sandpaper. Broooce Bowers did some studying in the "necessary room".....check out that arsenal! That's not a dead sheep...it's Magoo's dog, Scotty! He was the guest of honor! I got to meet Mark Matyjakowski and his son Nick....great folks. Had fun jammin. As always, there is nothing like a meet to put me in a good mood. It was wonderful to meet new friends and hang out with old pals like Brooce and Dana, Marcia and Bob, Rabid and Gump, and Harris! Thanks & Love...Jill

so there's no confusion ... the clam with the lettering was Rapid Ray's work. I'll never forget the look on Bruce's face when he turned the corner to show me the clam and saw me striping mine ... priceless.
I gotta get copies of your guys pics, most of mine were not so good ... but my favorite of what I got ...
Thanks again Mike, and all the rest who made it so much fun
