Do the banners at the bottom of the page make this look "cheezy"
What about on just one page?

Wayne,

To be honest, yes, I think it looks cheesy. Why do you want it there?

Yes.

Banners can be integrated into sites tastefully, but unless you have a ton of hits a day, you are not really going to generate enough money from them to really pay for your hosting.

I try to tell customers that websites are really pretty much a loss.. Add the cost of the hosting to your advertising budget and hope that the content brings in revenue.

I do recommend link swapping.. Recommend a few of your local products/services and ask them to display a link to your site as well. This way you can edit the banners/buttons to more tastefully fit into your site scheme.

Good luck!

Well, they say the only dumb question is one that you already know the answer to.

I moved them to the "store" page for now.
I may just turn them into links, put them on the links page, and eliminate the banners.

Found the "hosting" banner on my control panel page and while looking for "visa/mastercard/discoveretc buttons I found the other one. Yes, you get kickbacks from them. Thought I would try it.
It's taking longer to build this site than I anticipated. Especially since I goofed up the first one and had to completely trash it.
