Okay, here it goes.....it's my first time (as a host) so be gentle.
Panels and paint will be provided, along with some door prizes and the beautiful fall foliage in the heart of New Hampshire's White Mountains.
Caulder Construction Company in North Woodstock has generously donated the use of their recenty finished HUGE building and there's room for plenty of paint slingers, pinheads, glue chippers and curiosity seekers.
This will be a free meet and food's gonna be a "going Von Dutch" thing. (bring lunch money) There's a lot of great restaurants nearby (we can pool), along with plenty of hotel & motels to choose from in many budget ranges.
A flyer will be available soon.
I realise that Jeff Ogden is planning a meet the same weekend and we've discussed some ideas about linking the meets together in some fun and interesting ways. Who knows? Maybe we could get a couple more meets going around the world and swap panels between meets.
"It's so looney, it might just work!!!"
If you are interested in coming up for the weekend, please contact me at 603-787-6803 or email me at brushwoodstudios@hotmail.com

You bet he is! Ever since going to Mass Mayhem and the Panel Picnic, he's been out in the shop helping out on the computer and practicing with a pinstriping brush when ever he can. He's picking it up quick and it's been a fun summer for both of us. Anyone who wants some "bagging" lessons will have a hard time fighting him off....lol.
More to come... Rapid

I'd like to go to YOUR meet...as you know, I lived right down the road from you for 5-6 years, got married there, and my daughter was born there...it would be a hoot to cruise around those backroads...
We should call our meets Letterhead Meet and Psychic Fair....We seem to have thought out a lot of the same things when we were planning, before we knew what the other was doing. For those of you who are interested, we both would like to link these meets together and do some similar things, and have computers at both meets that are connected to the BB so even the folks at home can be involved.Looks like a fun weekend.

Jeff, Wouldn't be too hard to do an internet connection hook up in the building for the weekend and it sounds like a great idea. (I know a guy....lol)
.....and for anyone flying into Manchester Airport, I've contacted a shuttle company (remember the Dixie Bus ride?) and they've offered again to help out getting folks up from there to the Lincoln-Woodstock area.

Awesome!!!!! Looking forward to having you join the fall festivities.
Rick, What can I say...WAHOO. I've got a paint brush waiting with your name on it, my friend. I may be a little busy running around the building, but I promise you that there will be plenty of folks on hand who'll be more than happy to help you with those first couple of letters.
Now where did I put that moose.... WAY MORE to come. Rapid

Rick, In response to the post above, I suggest that your first hand painted panel include the following letters....One capital "D" and "ave" in lower case.
I bet I know somone who'd hang it on his wall.

I have never been to a meet, and I always seem to have something conflicting. I just might be open this time. I will keep you posted. For now, count me in. I really need to get to one of these things. Bob K.

It's the areas Chamber of Commerce website and just about everything you need is there, including links to lodgings, area attractions, directions and local businesses.
The meet location is in the Kinsman Notch along Rte 112 just west of town (also known as Lost River Road) and it's convenient to many campgrounds, cabins, hotels and motels.
I spent the day there and found several of the businesses I have dealt with over the years interested in supporting this meet in a variety of ways.....more info as things develop.
Like Jeff at the Hogtown Panel Jam, I'm really leaving this meet a panel jam and not planning anything in the line of "seminar" type events or walldogging around town.
Instead, I feel that with so many talented people grouped together, amazing things are possible. One thing I have considered for some time as I have worked on this meet is asking for some input and ideas on a project to donate to the Children's Hospital at Dartmouth (CHaD) .
from the CHaD website....
"Friends of CHaD offers a wide variety of volunteer opportunities throughout the year that are a perfect outlet for your special talents . No matter how much time you have to give, there is an opportunity which will be rewarding for you, introduce you to new people and will benefit kids. Even the smallest commitment can make a very big difference!"
Anyone who would like to become involved in this project, please contact me and I'll do what is needed to provide materials and coordinate efforts.

Hey, we were just up that way in June. Took the kids to Storyland; even drove on the "Kookamunga Highway" as I call it. I'm fancyin' headin' up there as a humble observer. Hmm, if I can letter just one more boat this season I might be able to treat the wife and kiddies to some foliage. Thanks for the info Rapid.
