My favorite firefighters handed me an old license plate they want me to duplicate. The plate itself is plain black but I'm stumped with the IAFF decal. The guys tell me it's relective, it's full color and I have no idea where to begin. Plus, I'm the digital ditz of the year, just call me digilliterate. Any suggestions, lessons will be appreciated and laughter is ok, too. Thanks!

This sounds like a job for one of our neighbours with a Gerber EDGE!
It might help if you can post a picture...just a thought.

Yep, I agree with Jon. A picture would most likely help a bunch. Do you have it scanned yet? If so, just post up a copy & we'll see if we can help.

If its the logo you are looking for, its available online from the IAFF library at iaff.org, but you will need one of your firefighter buddies to access it as it is only available by signing in with an iaff member number.

Be VERY, VERY careful about reproducing the IAFF union logo. (I am a member of the IAFF, this is how I know how strict they are.) The union is as strict as Harley Davidson about the use and reproduction of the IAFF logo. On the union decal, you will see what is referred to as the union "bug" This means that a union shop did the work.
I am not trying to sound like a jerk, I just wanted you to know. Do what you need/want to do.

Michael, you're not a jerk........God bless the IAFF. My firefighters are IAFF members and don't seem to think there'll be a problem but I'll have them check with the big boys and make sure. Thanks everybody!!
