We have all had one of those fine days where..... Well for sake of using some off color words. Would rather be pumping gas or selling slurpies. You know the day.. Usually monday. As a major player in the War against Computer generated Garbage. It should be funyy that mine was compounded by the fact my monitor was in shades of blue, turning into magenta.. Not Blank & blue just nice shades of it, nice color, But hard to work with when you have Gerber software. When you select the Object to plot or move it turns what color? Blue... It basically disappears. So after many Expensive tech calls, Rebooting, Changing monitor settings. I finally had it. I was about to hit the Local Tavern for a Game of pool to rethink my Problem when I decided to call my brother. He laughed, " Oh yeh he said, I had that once", I'm Like, AND you solved it how ????!!!!....... He was sitting back in the Desk with his hard drive under his desk and Bumped the Monitor cable????!!!!!! Nah that would be far to easy... It was and is.. I never fealt so dumb. So to avoid any of you ever having to attempt to solve this problem, I thought I would share it. any other have had any Serious problems like mine?

Hi Mike, My monitor did that once too! And I also have Gerber. It was still under warranty & Dell fixed it free. It did the same thing last year but was outta warranty. Luckily my niece was throwing out her old one, so I tossed mine in the Dumpster. Now I wonder if it was just a loose connection? Guess it shall remain one of Life's Great Mysteries. BTW, I bought a virus (brush) @ MM4....I HATE IT! Love...Jill

YUP ... sometimes the obvious is the cause ...
Got a monitor problem check the cable.. got a print problem .. check the cable
And when I say check the cable, it means unplug it at both ends and eyeball the freakin pins, a bent pin can cause you endless grief and it's easily repairable.
