I am trying to seperate some art but need to expand all the strokes to objects in illustrator 10. It wants to only expand 1 line at a time. How can I make it do all of them? I need the seps done by tomorrow morning. PLEASE HELP!!!

I don't use expand to convert strokes to paths in Illustrator, I pull down the "object" menu to "path", & choose "outline stroke"

This will give a vector on both sides of the stroke. Then you may want to "release compound" & delete the inside line & the original center line, just keeping the contour that defines the outermost edge of what was formerly a "stroke" (I guess I'm assuming you had a fill & stroke of the same color to create trap)

Are you cutting your films in rubylith?

I do seps for a few shops & they just print to vellum, so the strokes are just fine to leave as strokes, but I often convert to paths when I set up EDGE jobs, or when I cut rubylith films.

Good luck!
