I have a customer who runs a chain hotel with an indoor pool. After a recent inspection she was told she needs to add the various depths of her pool in meters, next to the foot-depth marks.

I need to know what, if any, vinyl or paints are durable for submersion in pool water. I also need to add this information to the ceramic tiles around the egdes of the pool. These will get wet regularly, but I also need them to stick to the tiles.

Anyone with experience such as this or suggestions?

Check with your Benjamin Moore dealer...they do a pool paint that might work for you.

Premium Cast Vinyl works on smooth tiles.

If the tiles are not smooth enough, apply the vinyl to acrylic panels and use a waterproof glue to stick them to the tiles.

Either way, try and give the vinyl letters as long as possible before getting wet ... overnight at least.

I've even done "fish" graphics below the waterline in a childrens fibreglass pool that had smooth painted finish.
