I've used Rapid Remover and Grafix Gone. Both are good, although when you're working on vehicles, it seems to take forever because the surface is vertical.
Is there something else that may be quicker than these products?

Hi Marc....
I use something my kid bought @ Auto Accessories Warehouse. Comes in a spray can, even has one of them extender doo-hickeys like WD40 has. It is called "Professional Strength" Label & Sticker Remover, made by the Dominion Sure Seal Group out of Canada.

Marc..All I ever use is Rapid Remover. Vertical is 90% of the removals from truck doors, hoods, fairings etc.

Usually takes 2 applications...I spray it on each surface around the vehicle. By the time I have sprayed each area, I go back to the start and use a Lil Chisler to scrape off most of the snot, wipe with a paper towel. By the time I get back round to where I started I spray another application and repeat.

Total time involved is usually less than 10 minutes. I figure that is pretty quick.

SEND ME A CHEQUE ROGER!!!!!!!!!!! LOL LOL [Wink] [Wink]

I'm with Dave on this one, Rapid Remover cracks it in 30 seconds. It even works fast on OEM graphics on jetskis and cars.

I usually spray one area and wait for it to kick though, then scoop up the "snot" as Dave calls it with another squeegee. It usually all comes up on the first shot then I just do a quick 2nd spray and wipe up any residue with a paper towel.

Sometimes I do jetski jobs right on the beach during a race and it draws a crowd. Everyone wants Rapid Remover after they see how easily I am able to get that adhesive off! and I *gladly* sell them some! [Smile]

What's the stuff for removing bigger graphics, like some of the factory stuff that comes on vehicles? There is something that the body shops use that they put on top of the vinyl and it eats it.

Was using rapid remover on a big removal job*motorhome re-do* and it was working but the fellow had some orange solvent in a gel form, was sold for carpet cleaning... it stayed on the side of the motorhome, wouldnt run off like the rapid remover and worked way faster.... not as wasteful... and quite a bit cheaper than buyin rapid remover thru a distributor....

Rapid Remover! Smell will kill you , but it works fine. Just be cautious driving afterwards, you might see pink elephants on the road. [Big Grin]

Funny This Thread was started I was just getting ready to post about the Wheel erasers. I Always questioned them on their efectivness. But I must tell you they work Great. Im doing a van today that the vinyl is prob 8 years old on it and the letters were cracked and the Glue had glassed over. Was spraying rapid remover on the glue and it wasnt touching it. So i tried this rubber wheel I got at the supply house for removing Pinstripes Man its taking the Vinyl/Glue right off works great then just spray a little Rapid on it to finish the job... Much faster
