Here's one we just finished. Go ahead and take your best shot - it won't hurt my feelings (2'x3' MDO)

The speckled background doesn't show in the pic. After the sign was finished, we decided that it would have looked better with a cutout shape rather than the rectangle.

Hi Pat! Your hand lettering looks lots like mine so of course I like it!! The word TIKI's I would have made orange, outlined in white. Also a little more space between Boundless and Possibilities. I like your style though.

hey Pat, shouldn't it be TIKIS rather than TIKI'S. You've got a double possessive going on. I agree with Cheryl that there should be more space between boundless and possibilities, the whole line kind of gets lost. The name PAT'S also seems a little squashed and the typeface fights with the typeface used for TIKIs. It's so difficult to tell colors on the monitor, but the first thing that jumped out at me was the phone numbers on the bottom. The white drop shadowed lettering overpowers the rest of the text. Now that I've shredded you (and bear in mind it's just my opinion and I'm certainly no expert) Let me tell you that I love the TIKI lettering and the speckled background. The lettering evokes the special charm that tikis have. I also really like the phone number line with the Neville script style lettering for the names, very distinctive and somthing I'll need to copy
Was this sign for someone else or do you build tikis as well as do neat signs?

This friend of mine (Jeff) makes backyard children's swings. They have thatched roofs made from palm fronds - like in the movies. Helps to keep the sun off of the little ones when they swing/slide etc.

'Tiki' actually has two meanings: one is like above; sort of a gazebo with a thatched roof and bamboo support. The other kind is like a totem pole made from a palm tree trunk with a face or faces carved into them.

Please tell me you know what a gazebo is !!
